Why the name Stolen?
Stolen comes from Danish meaning 'the chair'. The archetypal definition of form versus function - for all the frivolity and verbosity of modern and post-modern design, the chair must still maintain its functionality to still be considered a chair. So stolen design is not as sinister as you may first have thought.
